NPR Embedded Podcast



I have been listening to the Embedded podcast for about 2 years.  The team that has created Embedded, "embeds" itself deep in to a story line for several months to create this podcast series.  This season they are covering the Trump administration.  Personally I have had enough with politics for a long time, but I still listen to it because I love the way the show is produced.

73 Texting Statistics That Answer All Your Questions I found the article, 73 Texting Statistics That Answer All Your Questions , by author Kenneth Burke, written in 2016 to be helpful in understanding some of the stats related to texting.  According to him, "Over 560 billion texts are sent every month worldwide. Google Hangouts

Google Hangouts is a re-brand of their Google Chat service.  Hangouts feature the much of the same features of Skype without ads to distract our attention.  We use Google Chat at our office because we have had a better experience with Google compared to Skype. Our experience with Google Hangouts has been very positive because of call and video quality with easy file sharing.  "Google Hangouts is super easy – you just need a browser, an add-on, and a Google account, which most people already have and use for a lot more than just Hangouts. Meanwhile, Skype requires downloading the application, and your Skype account isn’t good for much else" (Lee, 2016).
